+ About the work
Ingrid Berthon-Moine follows the statutory canons of classical Greek sculpture, which celebrated small and taut genitals to reflect an ideal of sexual self-control and a civilized mind. ‘Marbles’ evokes the richness of language which incorporates the body, to test-ify, to con-test and to pro-test.
