+ About the work
Roman Study V is a fragment of the artist’s exploration of classical sculpture and its peculiar relationship to both portraiture and still life. Hovering over these two canonical genres, the study seeks the uncategorisable as it celebrates the fractured and the broken within the context of the archetypical, ideal, body.
